It took to the PBIA Road Course like it was born there. My R888 tires really gripped the track to the point that my instructor said it would be better to start with tires that slipped a little and made some noise so I'd hear it before it slide. Only slide out once all day and was glad it did so I knew the feeling. The car behind me is also a V8 Miata that my buddy built with a 5.0 Ford.

Engine Dressing for the V8

As you can see I have dress the engine out in LS2 covers and added a cold air intake that I ducted from the road light (running light) that I removed. Also I added a chrome tower brace the helps support the front of the the car.

Road courses no problem

Well it's been awhile since I posted anything on my car but as you can see I have the 6UL wheels on and had a great time at the drag strip. I did have an exhaust flow problem and found myself getting times in the mid 13's but after much work and $$ I got it worked out. The times dropped into the low 12's and after adding slicks it went 12.01 at 118mph. What a ride that is.
