Well the crate motor is here and the engine build can begin to change it to a LS2 iron block motor. The engine has L92 heads with the huge 2.16 intake valves and 1.59 exhaust. The lifters are rollers and this is a VVT (variable valve timing) engine and that adds length to the engine so it has to go along with the big ugly intake the trucks use.
I found a new LS3 intake on e-bay that Hennessey Motor Sports was selling as they ramp up their Camaros for sale. It is the newest version of the L76 intake and works so well with the L92 heads. Next was the vvt removal and shortening up the motor so it will leave room for a radiator in the Miata.
