I didn't want to crawl up under the dash again but it has to get done someday. It was even tighter than the pedal work. The old cylinder came out after a upside down under the dash moment. The new one was not so nice as the part of the cylinder that fits into the firewall is 1 1/2 in diameter and the old one is 1 1/4. So it needed to be ground out to 1 1/2 to get started. The kit paperwork doesn't mention this little fact. Well that was not the hard part either. The linkage under the dash was so tight that only one hand could go up there and two were needed to get the linkage onto the existing hardware. Once I was able to get it started I could only make a 1/8 turn before turning the wrench and so on and so forth for ablut an hour. Did I mention being upside down? Who needs Yoga classes when you have this!
